I have been playing well only to lose my money donking about at the end of sessions. I have set a stop win for myself of 4 buy ins which I will increase as is appropriate. I know this seems crazy but I would be running at 2x ptbb what I am now if I had this rule before today.

Na man, that's crazy. I don't believe in stop-loss/stop-win for 6max/fr.
Only hu, because it's easy to tilt there.
I suppose if you are prone to tilting in 6max/fr it makes sense, but I'd never set myself one (I think I virtually don't tilt in 6max and fr).
