POSTING HELPS MY PLAY

Posting to the forums is really helping my play. I start sessions with a better mind set and play better overall. I ran like god this morning till the doom switch was flicked on my account and I took 2 beats at almost exactly the same time. I proceeded to close out the tables and am going to go to work.

BAD AP/GOOD FTP

I ran bad at AP (where I play 200NL) and good at FTP (where I play 100NL). Played well overall and sweated a buddy who played well also. Played 4 tables for a while on FTP because I was tired and having trouble focusing and I tilted a buyin away. There was a very aggro player who I was beating on, but I started taking the game I was playing with him to everyone else. Somehow I ended up allin with AQ preflop cause the guy raised on the button. WTF.

VERY SWINGY TODAY

I played pretty badly today. Got lucky and played half way decent at some points to make it a somewhere close to even day. I was shoving into over pairs and not laying anything down at all. I was pissed for most of the day till I played some $0.05/0.10 with a friend which helped bring me off tilt.

I did on the bright side respond to 15 or 20 HH's on CR. I felt like this helped me allot and I will try to keep up the good habit in the future. Reading those makes me realize just how far I have to go in order to become the player I want to be.

And still the bad beat jackpot climbs at AP now over 800K. Makes me wonder.

BAD MORNING SESSION

Bad session this morning, got frisky right out of the gate and it cost me 2.5 buy ins. I think I am going to impose a 10min sit and don't do shit rule to prevent this in the future. I don't know what the table is playing like and stats have not come up on anyone why go broke and have to spend the rest of the session getting unstuck.

MIGHT BE A GOOD MONTH

I am going to try to bring up my turn aggression up a little bit. I think I am freezing when I get called on the flop with 1 pair hands. I recall Tay saying in his videos "he hasn't given me a reason to believe I don't have the best hand so I am going to continue betting." I will be looking for reasons to bet the turn and reasons not to call big bets made by Villains. These two things should help my results allot.

NATURAL 8 TABLER

I am doing well 8 tabling, my PFR is now 12% and my VPIP is 15%. 8 tables keeps me busy and out of trouble. I am finally out of my downswing and am making money again. This combined with the redeposit bonuses that I have recently started to take advantage of have salvaged the month.

THE NEW BLOG BEGINS

Played today and lost 2 buyins. Lost a flip and tilted off another. When losing a flip tilts me I just think what the fuck am I doing playing this game. I closed out all my tables and will resume play later tonight.
